Dear Ms Turnbull,

I am writing to you remind you of the forthcoming Cambridge Energy
Symposium on September 28th in the Centre of Mathematical Sciences,
Cambridge (map attached).

This year the symposium will address the opportunities and challenges
facing the future of distributed generation in the UK. Given the
discussions prompted by the recent energy review and the task force
currently looking at the future of the industry, distributed generation is
a technology coming to the fore in the UK.

The event will be chaired by Lord Ron Oxburgh and speakers from industry
and academia will present their perspective and experience of distributed
generation. A poster session and competition will be held during the day,
which has attracted students in energy research from the University of
Cambridge, Imperial College London, the University of East Anglia and Queen
Mary University.

The event registration commences at 9.45am and a wine reception at 5pm will
conclude the day, see poster attached. If you could circulate this poster
with your colleagues it would be much appreciated.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Yours sincerely,

Ronan Kavanagh
