Hi Keith,
Thanks for the review and the push you made to get the paper 'potentially'
accepted.
I was wondering what timeline we (I) have to get the revised paper back to
you?
I am leaving for Germany and England in just over a week and will likely not
have time to look at it until mid January when I return. I also have a rough
draft of my Davos poster (max and min recons) that I hope to submit to
Dendrochronologia in the New Year.

For the record, I would just like to say that the paper's verbosity portrays
Brian's influence rather than mine. As the Masters thesis that this came
from is 280 pages, you can imagine the frustrating experience I have had to
please the Boss!!!

on an unrelated note....you said in Davos that the WMO was moving to Bristol
(I think) and there might be some possible openings for up and coming
modellers (i.e. my wife). She will be finishing her PhD in the next few
months and is currently looking at different options. Is there a particular
individual that might be worth contacting for more information?

best regards and Seasons Greetings
Rob

".....I have wondered about trees.

They are sensitive to light, to moisture, to wind, to pressure.
Sensitivity implies sensation. Might a man feel into the soul of a tree for
these sensations? If a tree were capable of awareness, this faculty might
prove useful. "
