James needs some more info for the NERC grant bid:
How do we reference COFECHA, by program authors/ or journal reference where
cofecha is described?
 He wants to emphasize that it is a standard package used by the
dendro-community.

Hows tricks? it has been very busy with this grant proposal, muggins here
has a list of diagrams to sort out!

I would prefer to be sorting out the data so we can prepare a paper!!! Phil
made a cryptic comment (i'm sure thats not like him at all....) in Iceland
about needing '4 shells from the modern Fladen Ground and 4 shells from the
medieval period' to compare their growth histories. My question is Why 4?
can we do it with 3 or is there some statistical mumbo jumbo to use 4 as a
minimum??
