   Many thanks for the slides.

   I've had a quick chat with Defra about risk assessment in UKCIP  II scenarios, it'll be
   interesting to see how this develops.

   Ref the deep freeze, this story was covered in a lot of the papers including the Metro, the
   Times and Guardian.  Again I 've been in touch with Defra about this and I think it's
   something we'll need to cover in some way in UKCIP II.

   Here are the slides I showed yesterday.  The Wigley/Raper paper is in the
   post to you.  The re-working of the IPCC diagram is my own and is *not* how
   the IPCC presented it.

   Saw the headline 'Britain Heading for a Big Freeze' in the evening paper in
   Glasgow.  Is that really what we said?  Oh dear.
