     The attached will be in tomorrow's Nature.  There is also a News and View
    piece which I've yet to see.  It is embargoed till 1300 EDT, so 40 minutes from now!

      Why this got in without the adjustment is a bit surprising.
     Once adjusted correctly we will need less sulphate cooling to explain the
    20th century changes. Also the last sentence means that we are currently
    underestimating global temperatures - by about 0.1 deg C since the early 2000s.
     All down to a measurement system that is not designed to measure climate - see the press
   release.
