Dear Peck, Keith (greetings others!)

Hans Von Storch and I are interested in hosting a workshop described below
(see also attached file for a *very* rough draft of a meeting plan).
Originally we had thought October (in Charlottesville) would be a good time
for the meeting, but I don't want it to conflict w/ any planned
PAGES/CLIVAR events. Ideally, and with your help, Hans and I could host
this meeting within the auspices of PAGES/CLIVAR. Hans already has
indications of funding interest on the part of the German and Dutch
governments.
