    Mike,
As we've approved the figures, it might be difficult. I've a note in my diary to
   contact
Maria Lindgren next week at AGU. I'll email her now and see what she can do. In the
meantime you'll need Scott to get the revised figure done - just replacing one curve with
another. Figure needs to be eps with cmyk. Scott will need to change his options to
    produce this.
I was going to contact her about the proofs and dates. I'll cc you on the message.
You might want to give her a call to smooth things over. I'm back with a lot of things on.
Last week got a lot of things done, but left a few things which are now pressing.
    Cheers
    Phil

     Hi Phil,
Do you think we can include this other estimate from Bauer et al in our Rev Geophy
Figure 8, substituting a new version of Figure 8 w/ this estimate for the old version in
the galleys, when we get them?
If so, Scott should be able to provide a revised version of Figure 8. Let me know what
     you think...
     Thanks,
     mike

     Dear Mike,
attached is for your interest our manuscript - in German, though. Keep it to yourself at
the moment - publication could be threatened if the wrong people (like Michaels) get to
know about this, they may be able to stop publication.
I have a question regarding your picture. Would it be easy to make a somewhat modified
version of it for our publication? This concerns just our model run, Bauer et al. You
chose to depict the one based on C14 solar data, which kind of stands out in Medieval
times. It would be much nicer to show the version driven by Be10 solar forcing, which
fits your data very well. Also, in the labelling I'd like to get rid of the incorrect
labelling of our model as an EBM.
     Cheers, Stefan
